Workspace and sites

One workspace per operator, many sites inside it.

Workspace

A workspace is one operating company: its people, agents, units, modules and billing. Everything in SkywardOps belongs to exactly one workspace, and every row in the database carries the workspace's account id. Nobody sees data from another workspace.

The demo workspace is Northwind Aerial Services (slug northwind).

Sites

A site is a place where units operate: a solar farm, a wind ridge, a pipeline corridor, a quarry, a cell-tower cluster, a substation, a bridge or a logistics yard. Each site has a name, kind, location, time zone and its own site map.

The site switcher in the page header ("All sites" or one site) is a global scope: it narrows every page at once and is not counted as a filter. Owners and admins create and edit sites in Settings.

The demo has eight sites: Eldorado Valley Solar, Carbon County Wind, Edmonton Lateral, Licking County Quarry, Bend Ridge Towers, Austin Substation, Duwamish Bridge and Long Beach Yard.

Units

Units are the vehicles: survey drones, delivery drones, yard trucks and inspection robots. Each unit belongs to a site and has a status, battery level, health score, flight hours, firmware and a grounded flag. A grounded unit cannot be launched until it is released to service (see the maintenance guide).

Settings

There is one global Settings page: workspace, sites, members and access, agents, modules and billing, connections, and demo.
